Our 3 Purposes

Know

We will know Jesus Christ. At Immanuel Baptist Church, we believe that Jesus truly is "God with us." It is our desire to personally know Jesus Christ and for those around us to know Jesus as their Lord and savior as well (John 17:3). We see this happening through intentionally sharing the gospel.

We will grow in our faith. Because we believe that Jesus is "God with us", we will seek to advance both our knowledge and our love for Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Time should also be given to spending time with other believers while "sharpening" one another by talking about God's word together (Proverbs 27:17)./

We will go. We believe that the gospel came to us while it was on its way to someone else. This is also a  by-product of missions, both local and global, as we serve so that we can share

This is also a  by-product of missions, both local and global, as we serve so that we can share the gospel. As we go, we can be comforted that "God is with us" throughout our entire journey (Matthew 28:20).
